Job Description
Join Portmill Engineering as an Automotive Technician. You will work with a skilled team to deliver high-quality diagnostics, repairs, and customisation for both cars and motorbikes.
Our workshop is equipped with modern tools and technology to support your work.
- Automotive Experience
Experience with car and motorbike repairs required. - Technical Skills
Familiarity with diagnostics and modern workshop tools. - Service Expertise
Ability to perform wheel alignment, tyre fitting, and engine work.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair cars and motorbikes
- Perform routine servicing and maintenance
- Conduct wheel alignment and tyre fitting
- Carry out engine rebuilds and upgrades

Job Requirements
Experience & Skills:
- Proven hands-on experience with car and/or motorbike repairs
- Strong diagnostics ability using modern workshop equipment
- Skilled in wheel alignment, tyre fitting, and general mechanical work
- Ability to identify issues accurately and work efficiently under minimal supervision
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Certificates & Essentials:
- Full UK Driving Licence
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Vehicle Maintenance
- Experience with electrical troubleshooting is a strong advantage
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
