Job Description

Join Portmill Engineering as an Automotive Technician. You will work with a skilled team to deliver high-quality diagnostics, repairs, and customisation for both cars and motorbikes.

Our workshop is equipped with modern tools and technology to support your work.

• Automotive Experience
  Experience with car and motorbike repairs required.
• Technical Skills
  Familiarity with diagnostics and modern workshop tools.
• Service Expertise
  Ability to perform wheel alignment, tyre fitting, and engine work.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair cars and motorbikes
• Perform routine servicing and maintenance
• Conduct wheel alignment and tyre fitting
• Carry out engine rebuilds and upgrades

Job Requirements

Experience & Skills:

• Proven hands-on experience with car and/or motorbike repairs
• Strong diagnostics ability using modern workshop equipment
• Skilled in wheel alignment, tyre fitting, and general mechanical work
• Ability to identify issues accurately and work efficiently under minimal supervision
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Certificates & Essentials:

• Full UK Driving Licence
• NVQ Level 2/3 in Vehicle Maintenance
• Experience with electrical troubleshooting is a strong advantage
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
